  Physiotherapy TIPS

For those of you without a bad back the evidence suggests that the ideal office posture is one that is continuously moving throughout the day. Alter the seat height every now and then stand up and walk around, slouch for a time, sit tall to look over the partition.

Save your back, everything in moderation.

  TESTIMONIALS

‘I was treated by Martin for knee pain 4 weeks prior to the marathon. His approach was unique in that he did everything to keep me running fit whilst treating the injury and its cause. It helped he was a runner himself as the worst fear for me was for somebody to turn round and say ‘theres no way you can do it ‘ It just wasn't an option.'

(Andy, marathon runner – Sub 4 hour finisher)

‘I had back pain for years and was getting frustrated with being ‘realigned' every couple of months. I needed a longer term solution and decided to see Martin. His approach included both manipulation for the stiff joints and a graded stability program for the back and hips. It was different to core stability training, which I had been to many times before, as it worked on stability in different positions like standing up and picking up the kids. Touch wood – I've had no pain for 6 months!'

(Martha ex back pain sufferer)
